Dilorom Boqikhodjaeva is from Tajikistan where she started her career as a teacher. She later worked at CECI, the Canadian International Centre, as gender assistant and officer. She then continued her studies at Tajik State University and graduated in 2012. She has also worked for Mercy Corps International on a Tajikistan Stability Enhancement project as a Local Governance Specialist. In 2012, she started working with Caritas Switzerland as a project manager on three different projects: Income Generation Project for Marginalized Women in Rural Areas; the Water for Life project and a Energy Efficiency project. She currently works as a regional director for Chemonics on a Land Reform and Farm Restructuring project.
