Noah Tucker is an Associate for the Central Asia Program at the Elliot School of International Affairs, George Washington University, and is Senior Editor for the Uzbek Service (Ozodlik) at RFE/RL. He has spent six years living, working, or conducting field research in the former USSR (primarily Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan), directed a non-profit education project in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and served as an education and research consultant for academic, non-profit, and government clients. His current research interests are violent extremism and strategies for countering it in Central Asia.
