Over the recent months the situation around the Iranian nuclear program has been exacerbated. It is clear that Tehran raises the bar for the confron-tation with the West, the United States and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). For their part, the United States and Israel are openly discussing the possibility of a preemptive strike on the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Currently, the likelihood of an armed con-flict between Iran and America is greater than ever since the events of 1980-1.
