At the age of 17\, Islamkhodja ruled the city of Hazorasp\, which was considered a strategically important commercial center of the khanate\, and at 26 he was appointed Prime Minister of the khanate. He visited the capital of the Russian Empire\, Saint Petersburg\, several times and held audiences with Russian Emperor Nicholas II. The great reformer Islamkhodja was mysteriously killed in 1913 and his assassination was never properly investigated. For over a century\, this case has remained unsolved. Today\, a young historian bases his investigation on the available facts and documents to make an impartial conclusion and identify the real culprits of Islomkhodja’s assassination. \n\n\n\nThe film will be followed by a Q&A session with the director. \n\n\n\nJahongir Ahmedov is a film director and screenwriter. He has directed 16 films and contributed to more than 30 films as a screenwriter. His work has been honored by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. \n\n\n\nJahongir Ibragimov is a film operator. He began his first work with director Jahongir Akhmedov.
