Central Asian Summer School on Modern Journalism

Young journalists ages 30 and under from Central Asia are invited to compete for a chance to attend a 10-week certification program.

OSCE Academy in Bishkek is seeking applicants for the Central Asian school of Contemporary Journalism, which will be held June 22 to Aug. 28 in Kyrgyzstan. This program aims to give professional journalists the tools and knowledge to produce in-depth reports for media that make news relevant to their Central Asian audience. The working language is Russian.

Participants will receive a stipend of EUR200. Nonresidents of Bishkek will receive an extra EUR150 for accommodations.

Candidates must submit a resume, a cover letter and three work samples.

The application deadline is April 15, 2015
