This article (in Russian) analyzes the style features of several Muslim buildings of the 14th-19th centuries in East Turkestan. They display a diversity of architectural styles in the region that are characteristic of Central Asia, as well as the specifics of East-Turkistan’s architecture. The earliest of the buildings is the mausoleum (mazar) of Tugluk Timur Khan, erected in the XIV century on the grave of the first ruler of Mogulistan. It is located outside the ancient city of Almalyk in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China.
